Closure Updates for the Nearby Forest Areas in Wrightwood

The Angeles National Forest has issued an updated forest order for the Bridge Fire Area Closure from October 18, 2024, through December 31, 2025. These areas will be closed for public safety and to facilitate recovery of the natural resources and landscape affected by this wildfire. Closures will include some recreational sites in the Wrightwood areas of the forest.

Do not Block the Highway

Each year, Wrightwood sees a surge of visitors eager to enjoy the snow. Hundreds of vehicles park illegally along Hwy 2, obstructing traffic in both directions. This creates a hazardous environment for everyone, especially during emergencies. Illegal parking delays emergency vehicle response time. Please do your part and adhere to all parking signs.
