SCE Undergrounding Project in Wrightwood
Southern California Edison (SCE) is undergrounding power lines in Wrightwood's high fire risk areas as part of its wildfire mitigation efforts. Underground power lines help reduce wildfire risk, improve reliability during storms and high winds, and minimize outages caused by vegetation, debris, and other hazards. Construction is anticipated to begin in the third quarter of 2026. Strategic Plan – Public Comment Period Extended
WCSD is accepting public comments on its Draft Strategic Plan through January 31. Community members are encouraged to review the draft and submit suggestions or feedback to office@wrightwoodcsd.org prior to the close of the comment period.
